Last week, I went to film club at my school and it's where we watch films and gain more knowledge about films that are not necessarily well known and made independently. We watched 'The Unloved'. I had watched this prior to film club, as it was shown on channel 4
a couple of months ago.
It is about an eleven year old girl called Lucy growing up in a children's home due to her abusive alcoholic dad, and her mum abandoning her. It was shown through her point of view. It was part of the 'britain's forgotten children series' that ran two years ago.
It was extremely emotional, but a good film nonetheless.
